Courses Offered by the Waldensian Faculty of Theology

(Academic Year 2025–26)

 

The educational program of the Waldensian Faculty of Theology is structured into 4 degree courses:

 

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Theology – with mandatory attendance;

2. Master’s Degree in Theology – with mandatory attendance;

3. PhD in Theology – in the areas of Historical and Systematic/Ecumenical Theology;

4. Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies – a first-level degree, which can also be pursued through distance learning methods.

The program is complemented by two further training opportunities:

1. Two-year courses: Certificates in Biblical-Theological Education;

2. For all study programs, whether curricular or occasional, it is possible to enroll as an auditor.

The degrees conferred by the Faculty are recognized by the Italian Ministry of University and Research, and are included in the European Erasmus program.

Courses listed in the program are also available online (via Zoom platform).

Applications for admission/enrollment may be submitted to the Faculty Office during the following periods:

• By July 31, 2025: Bachelor’s Degree in Theology / Master’s Degree in Theology

• September 1 – September 30, 2025: Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies; Certificates in Theological Education; Thematic Courses

• By October 10, 2025: Enrollment in the All you can learn formula / auditors
